Sad story short, Coco coir-medium A.N. Ph perfect trio-nutrients The little plant wasnt given much chance when potted in garden variety soil, grew well(a lot of stretching) until second set of leaves, yellowing started around edges, began to wilt change to lighter/pale colors, scraggly... It was then taken out of its shit soil, and put into coco medium-about a week ago It's had one watering with nuts-no cal/mag, seedling strength, about 3 days ago. It began to look like it was recovering, Until last night/today I'm noticing it's beginning to brighten up and yellow around the edges again. My PH is good both in and run off out, the nutrients are on scale correctly, and the only causes I keep bouncing between are -lack of nitrogen or sulfur? My Q is, Should i flush it with the slf-100, to get rid of anything maybe causing lockout? Or What do you think of it being so young and having so many variables/issues 1st pic is just before feed 2nd/3rd pic is of today.
I'm not familiar with those nutes but you should be feeding every one to two days to run off and make sure your pH is 6.0. Add 30% perlite to your coco when you transplant. Was your coco buffered or did you pre charge the coco?
I probably didn't give it the right name, it's the advanced nutrients-ph perfect grow, bloom, micro. My ph is good-between 6.0 and 6.5 each time I check it, in and out I haven't mixed perlite...I was trying to just go coco with these and expected to water a little bit further apart. Edit-And yes mainly no, I added low dose of nutes to the coco -when I say low dose I mean very low...I only poured maybe a half gallon with seedling strength nutes into the coco with the rest of the water
Call me crazy but I think it's on the mend, Little darker color, stopped the yellow progression...am I color blind? Current diagnosis- This plant has had multiple things against it, including two transplants with coco that has not had nutrients added(nut buffering) until first waterings. I'm under the impression that not adding nutes to the coco has caused the coco to absorb the needed nutrients, especially cal/mg, rather than allowing the plants to. Attempt at fixing- -added a homemade cal/mg supplement by foliar spray and pour.
