I'm wanting to get some fans up and running on a PC grow, I've got a few pc fans but I don't know how to mod them to be powered from the mains or what other way to power them. So how do I power my pc fans and how to I do it? I was thinking about buying a cheap PC power supply unit but would rather keep the cash.
Got 2 PC fans installed, they are both attached to each other and acting as outtake fans, One is hidden behind the cardboard screen. This is the overall setup, will be adding either white paint or mylar boards. There's foil at the front end mainly to make it more airtight. I wanted air coming in to focus on the Grills that are on the side of the case. This is the case closed, I'm hoping that the grills will suffice for air intake, I don't plan on installing an intake fan, just relying on negative pressure in the case. I can feel air being pulled through the grills so it must be helping somewhat. I haven't got a temperature reader so no solid evidence yet. Any thoughts on improving it? It's obviously a very cheap setup, as cheap as I can is one of my goals. I was thinking about buying some sort of sealant to make it more air tight so that negative pressure is more effective, what sealant is okay to be used around plants?
