Hello Grasscity world! I have not been an active member in many years, however in my time away I have had many successful harvest doing a SoG in 3 gallons of soil with a 600w light in a 4x4 tents. I even went off and started an edible company for a dispensary group in Colorado! Well now I am ready to join the big boys and have a budget of about $7,500 to get a grow off the ground. I was thinking of going with the Super Closet 5x9x9 Gorilla Grow Tent and a 12 Site Super Bubble Flow System with 2-1000w Lights w/Lumatek %110 overdrive ballast. I of course will be using a closed loop cooling system with 2-6" fans. I will also be using co2, the House and Garden line of Nutes. I will be using my 4x4 setup as a mother room to house a Jack Flash and Girl Scout Cookie mothers and clones. I have seen grow journals where the Jack Flash is easily capable of producing a pound a plant when vegged for 4 weeks and flowered for apx. 12-14 weeks. I just wanted to get everyone's professional option on this setup and I would love to hear other opinions and ideas for improving the grow I still have a nice chunk of my budget left.
Here is a full list of what items I am think about purchasing Flowering Tent: 5x9x9 Gorilla Grow Tent 2- Lumatek 1000w Digital Ballast with 110% overdrive MH/HPS Bulbs and 3x3 Big Daddy Hoods 2- 6" Inline Fans 1 for Cooling lights 1 on a 15 min. timer to replace the air in the tent. 1-6" Tall boy Carbon Filter 12 Site Super Closet Bubble Flow Buckets Running Full line of House and Garden Aqua Flakes. Pure 100 R/O and Ionizer 2- 6" Circulation Fans. 20# co2 tank w/ regulator and Sentinel EVC-1 Environmental Controller Mother/Clone Tent: 4x4x6.5 Tent 600w Lumatek w/ 3x3 Big Daddy Hood 6in Inline fan Fox Farms Ocean Forest House and Garden Soil line. Seedling Tray for germination or cloning.
Just my 2 cents I hv a 4x4 400w veg room and 4x8 2000w flower room both spaces are tents I think you should ditch tents and build a room frame it 24" on center hang mylar everywhere I have found that tents can be very restricting there's not always pre fab holes in the correct places and getting to plants in back corners is never easy I will be running a sealed room with bottle co2 .. I use the hydrofarm greenhouse green matic controller ( controller is a must ) if you are planning on co2 u should also do a sealed room ... you will need ac and dehumidifier to keep a happy environment . The co2 bottle is nice because you don't have any heat generated Certainly lmk if you hv any ?? I could help out with Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
First off no one growing indoors is obtaining a pound per plant...especially on 4 week veg bro. Maybe their plant weighs a lb and they are too stupid to realize it. Or of course they can throw in 6 ounces of leaves and 2 ounces of stem and 4 ounces of seed. If you have $7,500 to set something up...why would you choose a shit ass tent to do this in? Build some air tight rooms and set this shit up right. I have a badass setup and only spend about $4,000
People pull pounds left and right from plants it's all strain and grower dependent, at the dispensary I worked at we grew a strain of golden goat that would well well above 2# this was with a 6 week veg. I want to use tents because it much easier to control 2 micro climate tents than it is a full sized room. Plus you get better usage out of the lights. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

With the 5x9 and there is actually quite a bit of space left in the ten around the sides and with a 9 ft roof I am thinking it will be just tall enough. I don't own my property so I'm not trying to build into or make modifications to the house. I will be using bottled co2 with a controller, how ever the nice thing about growing at 10,500 ft is it's cold year around and if anything I've always had to heat my rooms and samegoes for humidity I've always have had to use a humidifier to bring it up. No one is pulling pounds per plant dude.. Wet bud with seeds, all the leaf, and all the stem (like most shitty weed you get from dispensary's) then maybe you are talking pound per plant. It's a myth just like growing with CFL's and actually getting good weed lmao

I have read on here from people with years of growing experience that use cfls, are you saying they don't grow good weed?
You are going to be growing in a tent...yet you think you are going to get a lb per plant?*sigh* there is a reason why this forum sucks dick...and its because it is being flooded with amateur retards like youGrow outside and you can get a lb per plant no problem...anyone who claims to grow inside (especially on a normal veg time) and get a lb per plant is a poser and is lying.Sure after I cut my plants and hang them up I probably get a lb...but when it actually dries and I trim it (most people do not know how to trim properly) you lose half your weight.I am pretty sure there is a micro grow section somewhere go try and find it. you sound just as stupid as the guy saying he wants 10 lb harvest off of 6 hydro plants with NO GROWING EXPERIENCE.This has got to be the worst forum for growing now and it used to be the best.
Dude not trying to be mean but you are acting like a major dick. This forum is great because its a community that HELPS people grow. Not bash them and accuse them of making this forum shit, no that happens from people just like you. Ive heard of people growing indoors and getting lbs from a plant. With nine feet of height and LST or other methods its not crazy at all. How about instead of bashing all the time you smoke a bowl and chill, maybe throw in some useful information occasionally.Sent from my SCH-I535 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Lb per plant indoors is possible...in a tent it would be tough but its possible.I've seen it work in the 13 gallon undercurrent system with about 13k worth of light in a garage. Not a tent but im sure you could scale it down to make it possible. Why are you going with such a small tent? Are you limited to space or?Sent from my SCH-I535 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
wow I missed this thread. $7,500 and you want to fuck around with tents? Get some people with skills, frame up walls, sheet rock, pull some wire and build real rooms. You would shit if you could see what I would do with that much to build some grow rooms. First you would need to borrow a forklift to unload the pallet load of 1,000w light systems. call the power company and get a bigger transformer on the power pole. build walls ,run power , hang lights, install water filters,,,,, you need to be cutting clones and planting seeds like mad right now. get it up and get it on.
Why are you being suck a dick? What you are stating is 100% incorrect. We regularly pull an lb. per plant with this system...indoors, dried, trimmed, bud. You have successfully made yourself look like a fool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q45S58n1Zgk
Alright this thread got derailed pretty quickly over a petty, one sided argument. No need to continue this as a lb plant indoors is certainly not impossible. Practical...I'm not taking a side, but I don't have the patience to veg an indoor plant that long. More power to you if you do. Let's get back to the shopping list for the OP. Thanks for understanding.
definitely possible to get lb's off a plant indoors, ive seen a guy grow 6.1 lbs dry weight using 3 600 watters on but his 3 plants looked like actual trees haha
