When I found out my dad smokes, I told him I smoked too so I don't care. He was dissapointed but he told me that he can't do to much because he doesn't want to be a hypocrite.
I think your dad is just trying to look out for you, [in a way you don't see yet] maybe he doesn't want you to end up like him? That's what my dad told me.
