Hey guys! Hope you are all having a great week*****. Sorta pissed because the other day I bought a wonderful 2 foot Hello kitty bong. Unaware that it would be without, the bong arrived with everything BUT the male piece- the bowl. it has a downstem and even a fucking keck clip but NO BOWL. I guess I didnt read the fine lines on the web site enough.. though it was certainly advertised in the pictures with a bowl. This is my bong: This bong has an 18mm down stem and PORT. Me, being an idiot, figured, GREAT an 18mm bowl piece will certainly fit. I was wrong. I ordered this fantastic hello kitty bowl/male piece just to discover that it was WAY too big to fit. This is the male piece: So now I am left with a fantastic bong, and a fantastic bowl to go with it. Neither will fit so theyre sitting here useless and I refuse to get a new bowl because this ones absolutely perfect, why would I. I NEED YOUR HELP YOU GUYS! First of all please tell me WHAT SIZE BOWL WILL FIT TO THIS DOWNSTEM? I'm assuming a 14 now because commonly they're just 14.4mm and 18.8mm.... ALSO is there such thing as an adaptor for my bong so I can use this bowl? Please someone educate me! Thank you ps, only thing i can think of to get is this: Adapter 14,5 connector to 18,8 bowls, 4.59€ something like this but it doesnt even ship here. links please?
I know for a fact they have the adapter you need but I can't find it. I know cause I saw it earlier today. That is a 14/18 mm downstem meaning that it fits into an 18mm hole but has a 14mm hole for a slide.
could you help me out and look for links? i only found that one and its pissing me off because of course it only ships around europe and the UK. my luck is so fucking bad im getting fed up i just wanna hit my bong and my bowls so perfect nothing should be stoppig me

It's Tuesday..... ???? its obviously not perfect if it's the wrong size. Your options are to scour the internet for hours looking for an adapter that you can get shipped or you can just buy a new one. Just buy a new one.

ANYWAY i found this 18.8>14.5 HQ Diffuser Downpipe/Bong adapter - English - Grasscity.com which is just like a downstem adapter which doesn't look half bad and is quite cheap.. im just scared of disappointment when I get it if it doesn't work for the third time... theres literally no head shops around me so id have to make a 2 hour drive to any decent one to make this work. also apologies for using the word perfect.
wow, really really bad advice considering she could easily use an adapter OR she can do what i would do and contact angi at gmd and get a sick custom showerhead downstem. thats what I would do. op pm sent
size 14 converterconverts 19 to 14 by Simpleglasstubes on Etsy found this... it says 19 though so now im nervous that itll be TOO big! yeah honestly that took me two seconds to find and I have no idea what the fuck im doing either way.
just read my pm and dont mess with adapters, theyre a pain in the ass, just buy a showerhead d stem from glassmans doll..that adapter is 12 bucks the d stem is only a few bucks more and its stable, no worries of it falling out when you pull your slide...btw nice little hacky sacky slide.
already replied via pm but i'll reply here for others wondering the same 19mm male joints are compatible with 18mm females and vise versa.
Nice combination, the tube and slide. THIS!!! Adapters suck .... another place for a little air to leak, another place to come apart when you don't want it to come apart there, they're ugly, and finally you'd be using an 18mm slide but not getting the full advantages due to constricting it down to 14mm. Your downstem has an 18mm male section with a 14mm recessed female joint. You just want to find a compatible downstem with 18mm joints on both the male and female sections. There are tons of options out there.... What you have is on the left and what you need is on the right. These two are pretty compatible since the lengths are about the same from the bottom joint down. Sorry for the dirty glass. thank you for your help sweetness! i need to figure out what size everything is but you seem to know.. im just afraid of more disappointment and feel like if i just get an adapter it will be a quick temporary fix and then when i have the actual money I will be able to buy somethin nice like what you posted.
what about around.. how do i know it will fit INTO the bong itself. i get so confused with 18mm and 14mm im starting to confuse myself gahh help
If I were you, I'd bring the entire set-up into a shop and figure out what I need. That way you can actually piece it together and make sure it fits before spending money. It shouldn't be a problem since everything is still clean and new.
