  1. I've been smoking for a good while, but in the last few months it seems whenever I smoke more than usual.. my back hurts.

I broke it when I was younger, but I don't know if it involves that. I was wondering, does this happen to anyone else? I can't really describe how it feels, because I'm not feeling it right this second. But I'll be sure to update and let you guys know exactly what I mean.

Any input that leads me in a direction is greatly appreciated.. This has a huge impact on my smoking habits.

  2. iKonic, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but it could be that the cannabinoid receptors that are already in our bodies are located in our brain, spinal column and immune system. So possibly when the reaction of the cannabinoid recptors in your spine blending with the thc you are putting in your body? I wouldn't have assumed it would cause pain, but it is very possible as I don't completely understand the processes thc goes through in your body.

  3. I find that when I'm high, I slough alot, Try sitting in a firm chair, maybe with a recliner, something to support your back.

  4. when i get high, i feel everything more....so i get more hungry, then more full, more thirsty, happier, getting hurts also hurts more (until i forget about it :))...so i think thc doesn't make it hurt, you can just feel the pain that is always there that you are used to when your sober

  5. DBW, thank you.. I'll have to look into what you see and try and figure this out.

fAK and teh, I'm wondering after reading your posts if it isn't so much pain, but more of a discomfort that seems to show itself when I'm toked.

And, I've tried sitting in firm chairs, blah blah blah.. all of that. Not much help.

  6. I've been high since 7pm yesterday so please bare with my train of thought. I was thinking your situation is very similar to how arthritic people feel pain sometimes when it is going to rain. What ever kind of reaction that is, maybe it is the same for you when the cannabinoid receptors in your spinal cord actually connect with thc... ? I'm just not sure I understand it enough to know if my train of though is plausible.

As for the research aspects of cannabinoid receptors in your body:
    http://www.medmjscience.org/Pages/reports/ukhol/15104.html and
http://cannabisculture.com/articles/1530.html You can credit hotsauc3 for that first link. He gave it to me and I've reference it often. :smoke:

  7. :smoke: Do u stay at the computer alot?

slouching will fuck ur back up..

about 2 years ago i was swinging on this rope swing, and i fell dead on a rock from like 3 feet in the air, never been right since.. but it agrivates when i slouch in my chair or i dont sleep right (especially a drunk sleep)

try getting a good mesuse (sp)

edit: Does anyone else get this, when I get high, ill take breathes and it will make my back crack. sometimes it will crack as frequently as every 5 minutes

  8. I'm thinking the scare tissue in his back is already fucking with him because he broke his back before. I would imagine is posture is next to perfect due to this? ?

:smoke: THC, no never! That would freak me out. I would think my back was breaking, but that is because I'm a paranoid wimp.
