Sentinel Chhc-4 question

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by WeFitPineSoFine, May 13, 2011.

  1. I have run into another snag in my construction. Two part question:
    A) Can the chhc-4 handle the electrical load of a 250v air conditioner? B)How in the heck do I plug it into the existing outlet on the unit?

  2. figured it out that there's just no safe way to use anything over 110v in the Sentinel chhc-4 controller. Due to the high heat of the summer, my needs are greater than any a/c unit can provide at 8,000 BTU or less. This problem is averted by extending the thermometer that is part of the a/c unit. Then the a/c regulates itself using its own probe (extended to go inside room). During more mild parts of the year I can just use my inline fans connected in that outlet on the chhc4.:D
