Lou Dobbs was yet again spouting off about the Mexican cartels last night on his show and how the media is not paying any attention to the issue. (Except him of course!)

Night after night, he's always thumping his chest and demanding that "something be done." Inevitably, his idea of what should be done is to ramp up the same old tactics and failed policy that have brought us to this point to begin with. Last night, it was especially insulting. A city council member in Juarez has apparently been talking about the idea of legalization. Dobbs went so far as to say this was "giving up" and that this city council member was a "coward" for even suggesting legalization.

There's a "contact us" form on his site, so let's use it! We cannot allow media outlets like this to portray a one-sided approach as the "only solution," It's especially insulting when someone who portrays himself as "Mr. Independent" is doing so.

    Here's my message to Lou:

  2. good stuff man, I'll definitely do it!!

    Did you see this?

The Mexican police and the Mexican army can't keep the mayor safe so he has to sleep each night in a foreign country just to stay alive!! When this spills across the border (and it will) we're all fucked.

  3. How about this one?

Things are definitely getting out of hand. I can't say that I trust the government agency responsible for FEMA to mount an expedient "surge" if the violence really starts to surge over the border.

18,000 border agents! My gosh!

  4. The more they seal the border the more incentive the Cartels have to set up over here.
When they commit their violence and murders in our country the general public will be outraged enough to demand legalization. Just like in 1932!

  5. The cartels have a fortune right? couldn't they just hire a lot of mercenaries and start a small war? lol

  6. One cartel in Mexico has just that. "Los Zetas."

It all started when the US government trained Mexican police officials in para-military tactics to fight the war on drugs. The training was done in the US and the mexican police then returned to Mexico. One thing the US Government didn't anticipate was that the cartels had so much money that they could afford to "hire" these military-trained "mercenaries" at much high "pay" than the Mexican government could possibly afford to pay. The cartels have continued to train new recruits using the training they gained thanks to the United States government. I saw a special on the History Channel that outlined the cartel situation that provided this info. Very fascinating to watch.

Is it any wonder the US Government is not too swift to get involved in the Cartel issue?
Once again, prohibitionist policy failed, but this time, they created the enemy who is murdering the Mexican people. :(

  7. and will soon be murdering us. END THE PROHIBITION!!!
