  1. Hi Everyone.

    I'm Gottagrowsometime.

    I'm 1yr 7 months. I've grow 50 phenos about 40 different strains.

I've won 3 awards for helping people out on a different platform.

My knowledge is well rounded my field of expertise would be soil (light/ all/ promix) and coco.

I know DWC very well also. I've grown with 27c water using h202. Mixed experience. But my knowledge is extensive in increasing DLI / Yields / germination / seedlings / Topping / LST / colas as opposed to buds / Defoliation / solving defs+toxs / enzymes & sugars importance for co2 growing / Full Co2 kit knowledge / Advanced co2 knowhow/ growing in high RH understanding and ventilation and how to prevent rot/ NPK ratios / marco+micros (mobile/immobile nutrients) / IR 730nm photochrome (adding extra 1.5-2hrs during flowering during fems) / UV-A/B Basic knowledge / advanced knowledge and fixes for multiple issues and more not listed above... these are all things I can help you with & more. I've learnt all these things from reading but mainly from mistakes made and countless hrs of research. 50% of my knowledge is plaurosed. And I've learnt a lot of new techniques from doing ie fixes and so on. Methods I've learnt from studying master growers materials.

Feel free to start asking Questions. If I don't know I'll ask my many gurus that helped me along the way. I'm in no way a knowall or claim to be. I'm here to help. That's all. I'm just starting on here I've few journals up. But I'll be adding new threads and a lot more journals, general chit chat. But, my focus will be on helping growers in need and hopefully learning something in return.

BTW, feel free to add your knowledge and reply to ppl who have issues. This isn't a 1 man show.

All community welcome to give your 2 cents. Or 1 cent my point even if you've a theory, throw it in. You won't be put down from doing so. Nor will I accept anyone trying to make a fool out of anyone..

Currently I'm dealing with mad early summer temperatures of 32+c ( tent environment temp/ not LVPD :leaf temp is 28.5-31.5 changes throughout the day as ambient outside conditions change). So, to combat the heat. I've invested heavy in time & money in understanding how co2 growing works and have perfected my knowhow the past 3 weeks I've been using it. I bought a very high grade kit. And have great co2 lights I use 100w for seedling 300 w for veg and 480w for flowering. . Lowest ppfd area is 1190 and highest is 1490 using lux meter in a 3x3. All comments welcome.

Let the Questions with your issues begin "hopefully"

  2. nice: but its the ppfd(par) measured in Lux that wonders me

    maybe make a CV?

  3. Okay so lux is lumens how many candles by 10 or some bollix when working in area. Par is a total lights output and ppfd is a point/area/plant that is getting usable photons (ppfd map numbers differ) are how many photons land on a certain area is what i mean, "how much usable light in a say 10cm2 grid on the maps you do see, distance comes into play, but that ppfd if its anything over 1000 then you need to enrich the environment with co2 and high temps as beyond that all you're doing is wasting Watts.. But, its really DLI you should be looking at. How many Daily Light intergal your plant gets. With ambient levels anywhere from 35-40 you're golden. Beyond that you stress a plant out "light stress, dif DLI levels are required for optimal growth. Extra DLI is needed for heavy flowering, not so much for veg. You get my me.

So, you need to take all them things you said. Ppfd and add it up with its area x the light hrs and your lights par. I'll just send you the link for a DLI calculator just look up "the importance of DLI with different weed plants" you'll get a bunch of stuff find what best suits your plants DLI by looking through guides

But par/ppfd is important. As without them. You don't have DLI so you're asking the right Questions.

Now, to get your plants true DLI you'll need to know its proper lux / ppfd use a convertor with whatever spectrum you're using

Aswhat you said. Are only mere pebbles in a quary when comparing any understanding DLI as opposed and mastering it will change your grow.

Maybe I'll do a thread on them one day.

Watch out. Thanks for your comment.
