Seltzer in a bong?

Doubt it would effect anything, the sugar would get the bong all sticky too if there was any.

It would look cool the first few hits and it might make the hit more smooth but it would go flat too

Its just more little bubbles. It wouldn't really change anything, except for stickiness.

 

original seltzer does not contain sugar therefore is not sticky. there are no negatives to this idea. try it and find out, i know i will next time i pickup. I love seltzer

 

I image it would make a sticky mess. And you'd be inhaling all the gases from the carbonation.

 

Well, usually an idea starts with a good point.

You haven't yet stated why seltzer would be any improvement over water, so who cares if its bad or not- its not better so why care?

 

The gas is just CO2, harmless and already present in the smoke anyway...

 

The idea sounds cool at first but then you realize all it would be is a waste of seltzer.

You cant just say seltzer water isnt better then regular water. Just cuz you haven't heard anyone say anything about it doesn't mean it isn't better. I'm sure a lot of people have thought about it, but never did cuz other people put em down. The fact of the matter is you have no clue how seltzer water will compare to regular water, and the fact of the matter is you have no reason to believe it wouldn't be better. And there is not sugar in seltzer water, it's merely water with carbonation. im gona try it, cuz i never have tried it before, and see no reason why i shouldn't. You guys need to lighten up...

 

Was just thinking. might seltzer be a more effective medium for filtration? Maybe the bubbles capture the heavier carcinogens in the smoke in an air pocket.

 

When you think about it, it actually sounds worth trying haha. I'm surprised i've never thought about it. I really wouldn't be surprised if it was a smoother hit then water, cuz it sounds like a better filtration system. I mean of course it'll get flat after a few hits, but you should change the water out every couple of hits anyway. Well at least i do haha.

It does go flat.... but after a good 10-11 good sized rips... And it IS incredibly smoother... and you get fizzyness in your mouth with the smoke... it is an amazing experience...


Try it.... and cleaning is just as easy as it would be with water.
