selling glass online

Discussion in 'General' started by jjng5, Nov 29, 2006.

  1. I wanted to know the legal status of selling glass online? How are some sites allowed to do it (like this one) but than others were shut down by Operation Pipe Dreams?
    Thanks

  2. overseas

  3. so all online glass shops are completely ran from other countries? i thought some shipped from within the US?

  4. None that I know -- There is alot of boarder-line unconstitutional voodoo-law which the DEA practices on a federal level (ie tommy chong and operation pipe dreams.)

With the massive amount of document and undocumented domestic spying and espionage going on within the United States these days, it's a terrible idea.

  5. Call me naive, but isnt it entirely legal to sell glass bowls and say theyre for tobacco use?

  6. Thats what I thought? If someone wanted to start up their own website online for tobacco use, would be they be able to?

  7. im pretty sure its allowed on ebay, i have seen quite a few, im not sure if they are from the us though....

  8. I heard that tommy got busted due to a technicality.

I heard that becouse his picture, and or name was on the piece, or manufactored by tommy chong, is illegal becouse he represents marijuana. could be total bullshit, i have no idea. and therefore it became a marijuana pipe instead of a tabacco pipe.

  9. ^^

no tommy chong was busted because the DEA set up a fake shop in pennsylvania, one of 2 states i believe with harsh glass laws, and had him send them glass into penn.

that is very illegal there, and they prosecuted him under penn. law.

funny that the feds will use state laws to their advantage in a situation like this, then turn around and shit on them by raiding med clubs and not recognizing state medical marijuana laws.

ooh what a country, sweet land of hypocrisy

  10. Im wondering the same question I mean they say for tabacco use only it makes no sense on why they would be shut down
