Seizure?

    So before a rave a few weeks ago, Me and my friends went to go smoke a bowl or two. Theres 4 of us.
    I take about 3 hits of white widow(thats what my friend said it was).
    Didn't feel it much but i went back to get my friend who was holding our spot in line.
    Well i waited in line and smoked a cig, and had a shot of some vodka.
    And then after about 30 minutes i start to get really tired, so i sit down.
    Then my friends said i started shaking and having a seizure. When i opened my eyes everything was dark with like small white light spots.
    This went on for idk how long but by the time i got in, i was fine.
    After about 30 minutes being inside the rave, i took a blue playstation and felt fine. Any idea what caused the seizure?

    im still smoking and haven't had any repeats of that.

    My friend had something like this but it was little sleep episodes. He'd be in mid sentence and would just fade into a sleep that lasted for about 5 seconds. My group stopped smoking with him cuz he was a featherweight.

    My friend has epilepsy, and she would have a seizure a day after poppin' a pill. It's scary. But maybe that was some strong ass weed or you need to eat some food and not pass out in public.

    Were there any other contributing factors? Like... were you sleep deprived, or hadn't eaten all day, or do you have any other medical conditions?

    Are you sure it was actually a seizure and you didn't just pass out or something?

    Did you feel lightheaded or dizzy or anything before it happened?

    the only thing that i could think of is when you smoked you raised your blood pressure, then the vodka thinned your blood out. but one shot won't induce a seizure, hell i don't think weed and alch. can induce a seizure

    well i worked in the yard for a few hours during the day.
    and well i felt kinda tired, and i passed out a few times.
    But during the shaking i could feel it all happening.
    And my friend said i was foaming at the mouth.

    That will do it. Vasovagal syncope. I'm assuming you did not wet yourself?
    If this happens again please contact your physician.

    Micturition syncope is my fave, that is when drunks pee and pass out. We nearly had a guy drown in the toilet in the ER once.

    You could just tell him or her that you fainted and your friends observed you twitching or jerking. The doc should take it from there. Just describe the experience. If you do not feel comfortable sharing your drug/alcohol use then that is your decision, but please don't let it keep you from seeking medical care.

    If he wishes to mention his drug use it may be more important to mention that he drank vodka and had a seizure. Alcohol lowers your seizure threshold.

    But either way the doc will run the same tests, if OP tells him about the drug/alcohol intake or not. If the OP is uncomfortable with full disclosure, it won't make any difference in the screening tests. If the doc hears "drop seizure" he'll do the same routine stuff.:)Drug/alcohol use or no drug/alcohol use.

    to be serious, you might have smoked some laced weed, it can really fuck you up and make you fall over, pass out, feel very tired, or more extreme effects like you had.

    my friend and i smoked laced weed at a concert and my friend fell on the floor as i was about to pass out. i dragged him out and we chilled till it wore off. later we found a friend who had that same experience from the same weed and he had to go to a medical nurse that night he was so fucked up. we all had been smoking weed for a while.

    i heard that people had been lacing weed with chemicals like raid and fucked up shit that can make you feel like shit and possible convulse. not sure on this though.

    all i know is some weed is fucked up and it can fuck you up not like a normal high. probably a one time thing, be careful of the drugs your getting too.

    Well, the thing is. My 3 other friends who smoked from the same bowl didn't have any side effects or seizures either so idk if it was laced.

    And i don't think i'd tell my doctor about smoking, just so happens my doctor is my cousin.
