Hi guys, I'm 8 weeks into flower and rubbing my eyes. I checked my ladies out this morning and convinced myself there are seeds... 13 females from fem. seeds no visible hermies. Something came through the window fans in attic? Anyhow, I've got monster buds that look great. I picked open a few calyxes and out came a itty bitty green seed. I ate it and it tasted like a seed. They are not allover and not on everyplant. Should I chop them now, before further seed development? Some of the girls need a couple of more weeks. Don't know what to do... sure not the end of the world but a little inconvenient. Will the seeds be fully developed by the time I reach week 10?
well id move the ones you find seeds in from the others (possibly end them early and save the others if they have seeds)if you only found 1 seed i wouldnt be that worried.
Don't cut them down that is silly. Seeds don't make bud unusable or bad just seeds. Also don't use seeds that have come from a hermie fem plant that will end in a hermie. Let them go they will finish normally. Also don't pick the seeds out of the calyxes that cause damage which can lead to disease, fungus and a longer flowering time. Keep'em burnin DirtyViperMan
In some strains, an unpollinated female can produce a few seeds on its own towards the end of flower period. It's a survival mechanism, last-gasp effort to procreate. If you saw no sign of hermies I bet that's what happened. If so no worries.
yeah thats why i said if it wasnt many seeds i would let it slide. but if there is seed pods forming i would cut or seperate it from the females to prevent them from going hermie too
