Hey guys, I was planing my first grow but I want to drop my sprouted seeds in the ground in like mid april but I'm worried about rain, I figured I ould hold the rain off with 3 litter pop bottles with bottom cut off and set over the small plants and I would have the seed on a small dirt pile about half a foor or so tall so alotta rain will hopefully just run off the dirt. will this work? the only problem is I plan on like 20 plants but don't have 20 bottles so what do I do? I can't start 20 plants inside, all I can do is sprout.
I start germinating the seeds around march 20th actually, then go drop them on april first. As for your question I suggest making twenty rather large piles of dirt... so that they all have a diametre of 2-3 feet This way you could be absolutley sure they dont wash away. Also you should pack the dirt really tight so it doesnt erode to easily.
