Hello everyone I am about 20 days from harvest and as I was inspecting my indoor marijuana plants I found what I assumed was a seed. I got a closer look and it's definitely a seed. My question is, is there anything I can do to take them out and still have a good yield with good tasting bud or am I better off pulling the plants and starting over?
Let it finish.... You can pop a new bean in the ground today and let this one finish. https://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?threads/1387325/
Yeah, seeds aren't ideal but they do provide the necessary starting material for new plants. Although if the plant hermaphrodited (yeah, I probably made that up) the seeds are more likely to as well, as I understand. How did you get seeds? Shouldn't have seeds without a male...
Ya, it will not be as potent but you could also cook with it no problem. https://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?threads/1387325/
Having said that, I'm guessing that mother was getting on in age. I certainly wouldn't count on the seeds being worth anything. There shouldn't be too many, in my limited experience.
I did know a girl that was growing a plant from a herm seed, but I don't know how the plant turned out, just know it sprouted.
Even a good genetic line can throw out a banana or go hermi from stress or light leaks. They can also go hermi towards the end of flower just to give life one last shot. https://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?threads/1387325/
Yes, Hermie seeds are more prone to producing hermies. I grew (2) seeds from hermies and the were both hermies. https://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?threads/1387325/
Yeah, it is what it is. Seems like phil has more experience with it than me TBH. This interested me mostly because I have heard a lot of things but never experienced them. I don't want to tell someone else's lie.
