Hey guys I'm looking for some help on finding seeds. Now here's my situation. I live in Southern Florida and the spot i plan to plant is decent and can recieve plenty of sunlight. However, im trying to find an easy strand to grow but still high in thc. Any reccomendations? Also websites to purchase. Another question is, should i dig a hole and throw the seeds in the ground then cover the whole? Please help. Thanks!
Im right here with ya bro.Any of the tropical sativas will do well.as to digging a hole and throwing it into it.NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! find a spot not to far from where you plan to grow.and set up a nursery.not at your spot or youl leave trails because the tender young plants will need checking up on.No trails!! youl need some screen to wrap around your plants as the birds down here love tender green shoots. go ahead and start your plants in six inch pots.Next youl want to prep your spot.I Always liked building mounds to grow in. A 3'x3'x2'high mound works well.5 gallon buckets do ok to.take a look about are you in palmettos with suger sand or in pine forest?if its oak bottom chances are good it will flood come rainy season pine forest is good but youl need to be close to an opening and theres usually not much cover.I usualy try to plant amongst wax mertals.saw palmetos and suger sand get desert like temps and can cook a plant P.D.Q. Honestly Id suggest holding off planting to at least mid june as rainy seasone will be right around the corner. though if you live on the east coast it starts earlyer.those heavy daily rains pluss the heat grow em big and fast.I dont plant untill the end of july skiping late spring and early summer myself.you can get three good harvests down here.also dont plant to many in a spot and no trails. use a good time release fert and forget them untill september.go pull your males and add some more nutes if needed and dont go back again until the middle of October. NO TRAILS!!!!! personally i have been growing 4-6 plants a year in my back yard keeping them trained low.between thieves pests and johnny law i lost way more than I got.so I gave up growing away from my fenced in yard and dogs.Also no cow pastures!!Cows will knock the fence over to get at MJ plants.I hope this gives you some ideas.good luck man.
Yea Thanks man. Im in broward county about 4miles from the beach. so i start the plants in 6in pots. And wait until when?. Just put them in the ground after they grow a little? And what fertiizer should i buy? what should i look for at home depot?.. And its a preserve behind my house and no one ever goes there so its not a problem to make repeated trips.
i live in sfl too small world huh? i would just sprout the lil guys at home in peat pellets (those jiffy7) let em grow a bit till the true (serrated) leaves come in, then if your looking to just leave them find a good spot where it will receive moisture and sun. as broken said wait for rain season. if you want to go earlier watering wil be an issue. as for soil FL has shitty sandy soil i am also guessing your planting in one of the many pine forests. basically you kinda have to use pots. good luck
