Seedlings looking too yellow?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by stonehenge919, Mar 30, 2018.

  1. Hey guys I have seedlings in just peat pellets and I have been waiting with PhD water only. They are under a 80 watt grow light positioned 18" above. They seem to look too yellow and possibly stretching. What do you guys think? IMG_20180329_182850982.jpg IMG_20180329_182843287.jpg

  2. Wicked stretching, indeed. Light too far perhaps?
Odd that the others arent stretching as well.

  3. Looks good, what’s the light? I think can be moved closer but not fully sure of the light. When you plant them, just dig a deeper hole.

  4. I should bury them deep right? Maybe leave 2 inches sticking out? Roots should shoot off stem

  5. Yeah, roots will grow from the stem and will be like she never stretched at all. I never grown with that light, but I would think a foot be a good spot for it. Maybe wait for others to comment on.
