  4. Humidity domes are only necessary for clones.

  5. When i first started growing i started in the basement humidity was high.. seedling did great..

But now im not in the basement anymore & humidity stays at around 43-50%

I made the dome only for the seedlings that i know need a lil more humidity than an already established seedling thats about a week old..

Its not air tight, just something to keep it from going down so low..

  6. Thing is though that seedlings don’t really need high humidity.

  7. Hey Marc
This cloner doesn't come with a dome ?

I own one of these and they work fine .
Just saying this because seems like using a dome isn't really needed when using a Hydroponic DWC cloner .
Might be for dirt/compost growers ,but not for DWC or Aeroponic growers .

Getting ready to put some new clones in I can get a average success rate in 15 days .
Normally most clones I put in survive.

  8. Im not looking for high humidity but more than 44 - 50%

Shouldnt a seedling need more than that??

  9. Not really.

  10. The domes are just to prevent the cuttings from drying out too much which an aeroponic or hydroponic cloner wouldn’t necessarily need.

It’s never 100% necessary, just helps them to stay hydrated.

  11. Sorry shouldn't of said anything ,, what really counts is the people who wish to grow ,MJ can.
That the members of this forum can jump in a really help new growers and get then going or on their way .
I thought it was weird that my cloner doesn't have a hood.
The cloner works better then anything else I have tried …
That being said , I have been known to put a large clear plastic cup over my clones and mist them when I was growing in compost .
I might do the same on my cloner and see if I get better results .
    Cheers
