Hey this is my first time growing and I'm a little worried because the tips on one of my plants is starting to turn yellow/white. What type of medium; soil or hydro? Soil What brand and type of soil? FFOF Indoors or outdoors? Indoors What strain? G-13's Pineapple Express #2 How old are the plants? About 5 days since sprouting What type of lights and how many watts? CFL: 3x 23w 6500k 1600 lumens 1x 23 w 2700k 1700 lumens How far from the lights? Around 2 inches What is your watering frequency and source of water? Around every other day. Tap water + pH Down to 6.5 What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? None What is the medium/runoff pH and PPM if in hydro? Runoff pH was around 7 before I planted What are the temps and humidity in the room? Around 88F and 60% humidity What size pots? 1 gallon Any bugs? Look real close. None Any other pertinent info? I'm thinking I might have overwatered them, but I'm kinda curious since one seedling isn't yellow at all. They look pretty dark green though, which is why I'm thinking overwatering. I attached pictures of both to show the difference between the two of them.
Sorry for the double post, but I forgot to mention I'm on a 20/4 schedule now because I read it's good for root growth, but should I drop it down to 18/6?
Hey dude. I'm on a 24/0 schedule and my growth is just outstandingly fast. I was on 18/6 but it was too slow for me
I'd say go for the photoschedule change. drop into 18/6 and see what happens. also no water for a few days, if im not mistaken, the really puffy leaves can indicate over watering.
I've left it at 20/4 and got a minor burn, so I moved the lights up and everything seems ok now. I started watering a lot less too and they seem to be looking a lot better. I'm keeping track of everything (http://forum.grasscity.com/micro-grows/1341733-mgs-first-ever-pc-micro-grow.html) if you wanna check it out.
