Seedling transplanted to soil - poking out from soil - but stagnant

  1. hi guys,

I am trying my luck at a Special Queen #1. The seed germinated (paper towel method) and was placed properly tap root facing down into the soil. Everything was good, a few day after this the plant had emerged from the soil (no leaves yet) literally just a little bit poking through. It has been like this for 3 days, and i fear I killed it.

The soil used had a basic ph, between 7.5 and 8. The sun that was on it was just natural sunlight - about 10 hours a day.

The only thing I can think of is that I watered it too much and the plant is stuggling. If this is the case, what can I do?

I put her under 1 cfl (6500) with the hopes of having that help dry things out a bit and coerse some growth.

    Any suggestions?!?!
