If I take a seedling in a 1" cube of rockwool can I put it straight into a 15 gal pot or should it go into something smaller (like 1.5gal) and transplant it again later?
The less transplanting the better, as it causes stress. If it were me, I would do 1.5 before 15, and be very careful of the plant while transplanting. Good Luck
i just picked 15gal randomly, its probably too big to jump straight to it. the reason i asked is because i have some plants in 1.5gal pots and they're about 5 weeks old. i just don't know if i should transplant them again before i put them on a 12/12 cycle.
id go to the 3 gallon now. then your done. figure two months to harvest. i just got some nice 3 gallon buckets at lowes for cheap, drill some drain holes and you growin!
I sprouted mine in Jiffy containers, and when they were about to get there first set of leaves I put the jiffy containers in a 5 gallon bucket, seems to be working good so far
I forget what size i have them in now, but i've pretty much decided to move them to a bigger size container when my grow tent arrives (tomorrow hopefully) and let them veg at 18/6 while doing some lst.
first of rockwhool sucks and slows down clones and seedlings and root production just plant the seed in the final pot so the plant does not have any stress less stress better buds
