I am a first time grower with two seedlings. They are about a week old, and they seem very healthy in all respects but one. I have noticed that the stem of one of them (pictured on the right) is leaning more and more as it grows. I have kept a fan on them consistently, and I have rotated them to make sure they lean towards the light..but the seedling on the right continues to lean. What can I do? Am I worrying over nothing? Haaalp, please!

Also, I don't know what strains they are. I just picked them out of bud in the last couple of months, but I do know that they are two different strains.

  2. its not leaned too far that its a bad thing.. You can leave it but when it grows larger just make sure it can support itself or you can move it a little bit (gently) so that it is straight or get a chopstick or something to keep it straight. Good luck on your grow =)

  3. Looks good! Mine leaned just like that. I just stuck a tooth pick beside it to keep it straight, after a couple of days it stood up nice and straight all by itself.

  4. Day 10: Today, the leaves have begun to fold slightly, but my boyfriend insists that they are fine and I am overthinking it. What do you guys think?

  7. what strain are you growing and what are your guys' plans/goals for this plant?

  8. I don't have a picture but one of my seedlings stretched a ton now the stem is sideways and the leaves are growing up like a 90 degree angle is this bad? Its my most developed plant so I don't want it to die.

  9. 90 degrees is pretty intense.. It sounds like it should be supported. In my pic I used water bottles to support them while they stretched.

  10. I'm not sure what strain the seeds are, we just picked them out of a couple random batches of different bud. I figured we would top them once, veg for around six weeks and flower for six, assuming any are female. That seems to be pretty standard, I think. It's just a little closet grow so we'd like to keep them short and bushy.

  11. great Idea! Thanks

  12. Do you rotate your plants? They tilt towards the light so i rotate them 1/4 every day to keep them from leaning. Don't know if that helps but that plants fine.

  13. I do rotate them, but I think I must have left this one in the same position for a little too long. I rotated it, and it straightened out pretty well :love-mj2:
