  2. What's your pH?

  3. Guess I am thinking something way different.
Flip the leaf over look for black specks , if so get a Loupe ( magnifying glass ) Look for bugs
    Thrips
Thrips are tiny insects that feed on your cannabis plants by using their rasping mouthparts to scrape the surface of leaves and suck up the ooze secreted from the damaged area.

This causes silver or bronze-colored spots to appear on your plant’s leaves.

If the infestation isn’t addressed, the damaged leaves could start dying.

Learn how to get rid of thrips.
    Or spider mites

  4. Ph was 7.3, but im using Advanced Nutrients Ph Perfect. Anyway just corrected it to 6.0ph.
About the thrips or mites - its in grow tent next to one more plant in soul and it does not have this problem. So i think there are no bugs in the tent. Flipped the damaged leaves to see back side but it seems pure with no black or anything.
Im using RO water. Could it be calcuim def?
I just fed first time few days ago. Micro grow bloom 0.5ml/l , root 0.5ml/l. Thinking to put some cal mag?

  8. Looks like i was wrong,, no bugs,
As mick seems to be on target.
    Ph fluctuations
Unstable pH values can affect the nutrient intake of your cannabis plants, resulting in brown spots appearing around the middle and lower parts of the leaves of your cannabis plants as a sign of stress.

  9. im no hydro guy, but i do know you need acidic PH. lower than in soil/peat

  10. Its my first hydro grow. Usually go with soil - no problems mostly.
I will monitor the ph to be at 6 or so, hope it helps.

  11. The pH should be around 5.5 - 5.8 in DWC.

  12. Ok thank you, I'll dial down a bit more then.

  13. Btw one more question if i may, dwc is top fed + bubble stone in bottom. Do I need to leave the top feed all the time because now I turn it on for an hour a day? I fill if leave it non stop it will overwater the plant. What so you think? Thanks

  14. Once the roots are established in the reservoir, you can just run the airstone and eliminate the top feed.
I ran waterfarms at one time and that's what I did.

  15. Thanks to all. I think the dots stopped speading and plant look to be growing good.
It must of been the ph problem.

  16. Hey again people, there is an issue again for several days now. The plant leaves are drooping all the time and one of the leaves only is dying. Can you point me to what might the problem be please? Ph is 5.8, water temp 18-22 Celsius.
Here are some pics of plant and water level.
