My two girls have been growing over the past 6 days as of today! Average temp in room is 75 and humidity around 50ish % I just had a question or opinions on if the seedlings are stretching too long or if they look normal! My LED grow light is about 28 inches above the plants. Any feedback is appreciated Thanks
Fill the cups up to the top to bury the stem. Move your light closer. Consider adding perlite to your soil when you transplant.
CFLs or T5 high output at 1 or 2 inches away keep my seedlings from stretching. This is a temp rig I use when we visit our cabin in the woods for a week or two. I'll being along what set is needing close attention. Seedlings start under full sun in the real world. Yours need way more light. They will keep stretching to the light and eventually fall over. BNW
I vote hlg 4000k, many inches away. Short and wide! 30,000 lux max. Dyna gro Foliage pro, 1 ml/qt. That'll get you asking pruning questions in a week or two.
Mick's advice to add more soil mix is spot on. New roots will develop along the buried portion of the stem making a better plant.
