seed shell was stuck

  1. I had a sprout sticking out and the shell has been covering it since it came out. I took a tweezers and removed the shell. should I expect problems?

  2. As long as you didn't damage the sprout in the process. The seed casing often will stick to the top of the sprout as it pops through, usually it just needs a day or two to dry out a bit so it isn't stuck on so much and then either will fall off or you can gently pluck it off. Just don't get too anxious, tugging on it early when it is still moist and attached inside could damage the baby sprout.

sensi star is the one I pulled the shell off of. doesn't look like I damaged anything. Can only hope I am right.
