sorry if this is wrong section but i have germinated many seeds before and this has never happend so i was wondering if someone can help me...my friend put 4 seeds in a cup wit warm water and the next day he looked in the cup and he said they were dry on the top so he pushed it down a little and they sunk he ended up doin it to ALL of the seeds and i thought if they sink they r bad so i did not know what to tell him so i was wondering if anyone can help me n my friend out
its wrong if it doesnt grow. I never done the sinking test, but on the other side i do look closely and pick the best lookin seeds and usually end put with 85+ % of seedlings. Pick the biggest, darkest and prettiest "cocos", you cant go wrong. Currently on my first grow 4x39 daylight Osram Fluoros hung up in chains, some old school twist, jeje. 4 Indicas 6 Sativas .5 g/L of "triple 17 plus" (17-17-17 N-P-K and some micrconutes) .5 g/L of "nutriflor" (15-30-15 N-P-K) 35 days 12-12
usually sinking is considered good. they'll usually float at first until they absorb the water. The ones that never sink are usually junk.
