Hey y’all, so I just gotta simple question, I have some good seeds atm and am at the end process of germinating one of them, I’m pretty prepared I got mostly everything I need. I was just wondering; I bought a pack of fiber seed starter pots that are compost material meaning you don’t have to remove the soil to transplant you can just set the pot in a garden bed when it’s ready for transplant, my question is, are these compost pots okay to plant into a indoor 5 gal container or are those only useful for outdoor growing? knock your self out ...they are very similar to the Rapid Rotters things I use the real deal is in the quality of the soil you use I prefer Ocean Forest by Fox Farms and 25% perlite www.amazon.com/Natural-Fiber-Seed-Starter-Round/dp/B009EU8U0E good luck
You can definitely use them but I like to tear off the peat pot container when I transplant. You can leave it on but I found the roots spread out faster when I tear them off.
Yeah it is, I have a heating pad with a thermometer on it too, what should I set the thermometer at for the pad when I go to sprout the seeds Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
