Ok I know you should put seeds in the freezer to make them last, but I have a few nice looking bag seeds from a couple of good batches of mids, and I was ondering if they will last NOT in a freezer until spring? I live with my parents and an't keep them in our freezer. Well maybe I could...anyone have an idea of what to hide them in?
I keep my stash of seeds, in a film container. It sits right next to my computer monitor. Had it there for a year or two now. Used four seeds out of it so far, and all four of them germinated.
A few years back I germinated some seeds that were from the 70s, no problems. And archaelogists have found seeds thousands of years old in Egyptian tombs that have germinated fine.
