  1. i've talked to many ppl that have successfully ordered seeds to the U.S. my question is this, is it illegal to order/posess marijuanna seeds in the united states? iv heard that many countries ordering seeds is legal but sprouting them is not. i know this is a noob question but none the less please only tell me if your positive. peace

  2. no a seed is illegal, a spore is not

  3. spores for shrooms are legal in the states?

  4. he might be being sarcastic.

  5. no actualy only in a couple states is it illegle to possess mushroom spoors.but it is illegle to posses pot seeds in evry state in the union.even if the state votes it into their constitution.the federal government refuses to accept it.freedom at work:(

  6. the only place where pot is legal in the U.S is denver if i'm not mistaken. but you could hurt your back or something and try to find a gullable doctor to write out medical maryjane ^^

  7. exactly. at the state level, you can go into a california buyer's club and "legally" buy weed, seed or cuttings out in the open, but the federal government trumps state authority and refuses to accept state laws. weed is illegal in EVERY STATE at the federal level and feds have busted at least one "legal" buyers club and a grower or two as well.

alot of states have more liberal laws including medical use or posession limits. in alaska for example, it's legal to posess up to an ounce i was told and in reading the cannabible, there's a county in california where it's legal to grow up to 20 plants!

if you get busted by a fed though, you're totally screwed and are already at the top of the judicial food chain, so you can't appeal to a higher court either. as far as i know, federal cases go to the supreme court and once you're convicted there... that's the end of the road.

  8. haha nah i wasnt being sarcastic, it is legal to posses spores and ILLegal for seeds :smoking:

  9. For the US...

Marijuana is illegal everywhere, even if you're a med patient. The US, as a member of the UN, and signatory to UN conventions, makes marijuana illegal. The UN conventions joined into makes these laws as part of the US Constitution, "the Supreme Law of the land." This also under article 6 of the Constitution supersedes ALL state and local laws. Only a Constitutional amendment can change these facts.

Because of this, it wouldn't even matter if the entire US congress passed a law, and it got signed by the President. Without the amendment, weed can NEVER be legal.

Of course, you could just withdraw from the UN convention on psychotropic substances.

The convention DOES allow for decriminalization, though.

  10. You dont think the U.S. influenced that?

The reason that its illegal (begining in the U.S) is because when hemp was making a come back in commercial farming (to be used for its fiber in clothing, ropes, PAPER) back in 1937. Dupont came out with a new line of plastic and paper (that requires the use of oil). They got with WR Hurst and started a campaign to outlaw the use of hemp...and of course marijuana.

  11. Good resource on this subject is NORML, check the link in my sig...

  12. i keep TRYING to tell people that weed isn't illegal for public safety but because it threatens many company's bottom line including alcohol, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, timber & cotton etc. to no avail. some people just refuse to believe that laws aren't about right and wrong but about money and who bribes (lobbies) politicians.

if weed (hallucinogens are the ONLY non-addictive drug family BTW) really IS illegal for the public good, then why aren't highly addictive alcohol & tobacco as well? alcohol in particular impairs individuals far more than weed does.

answer, washington is annhauser busch's bitch.
