Gonna be growing indoors cnt decide wat seeds to buy wanted Lowrider2 but cnt get can anyone tell me thw best dwarfs to buy also wats best way to get them started trued the paper towel method on 5 fem Northern Lights and none cracked cheers everyone
I soak my seeds for 24 hours then plant 4mm deep in compost - keep them warm and moist. They pop in 2 to 5 days. I have never seen any advantage whatever in putting them in paper towels - an unnecessary extra step.
I've actually head that if you put them in paper towl and after the pop they you should pick them up with something sterile. Not your fingers because you can damage and weaken the plant.
And tiny root hairs will grow into the paper which will get ripped off when the sprout is moved. Another reason I sow directly into soil.
