security in imports and reliability

Discussion in 'Cannabis Seed Banks Reviews & Discussions' started by greengiant20, Jan 26, 2004.

  1. how would one conclude that the information here is absolute and accurate?

these ratings and recommendations may simply be plugs by the suppliers themselves, if not paid sponsors? additionally, if "the acquisition of live cannabis seeds within the US border is illegal" (according to High Times Mag.), how can one be so confident that the recommended seedsdirect or heaven's stairway be reliable?

I've read much about the 99.9% stealth rate, but again where is the credibility? the first chase is obtaining the seeds, and if obtaining them means that one has to rely on internet message boards for guidance, then I am afraid.

Again, seedsdirect seems to be the popular source. Yet how many of your satisfied customers are in the US? And...what methods did said seedbank company use to ensure your stash from being confiscated?

This business about the Customs Service sending a customer a letter is new to me. I mean, if it were that simple to get a notice that the buyer has been in the receiving end of a potential illegal transaction without consequence, then why is paranoia concerning the "acquisition" still an issue?

I write this in order to relay the following question/answer via email to you guys for input.

My question to AAA Seed Co. (aaaseedco@yahoo.ca) reads:

"--- "greengiant20" wrote: > how safe is it to ensure that your product is secure
    > past interception when
    > purchased from the U.S.?
    >
    > Thanks

we ship all our products through the regular mail wich
is not subject to inspection due to large volumes....."

I ask, what's the difference between "large volumes" and "regular mail" ? Last I checked, 10 seeds didn't seem to need a bulk delivery.

Now...following that preview of reliability, would it be recommended that i sent an international money order to an address where my "grow room" is not located? Geez...the best option would seemingly be to go get the damn seeds oneself, if it's that serious.

    Replies appreciated.

  2. How to conclude? Well you really can't conclude that any information spread over the internet is absolute and accurate. But what you can do is come onbaord to a community board like this one and spend some time. And I don't mean come in a burn up the board with lots of quick posts, but actually spend some time, days turn into weeks, then months, and even a couple of years. As you see people here on a daily basis you tend to learn about them and they in turn learn about you. You develop a trusting relationship with each other.

And then when one person has some information about a particular product or an experience by doing some business with a company, you can rely on your long term relationship with that person, that the information they relate is accurate.

Now I make no claim on any one particular company or seed bank. I hvae no vested interest, either present, past or future for any seedbank. I made my recommendations on past experiences. If you or anyone want to act upon my posts, that is strictly your business. BUT don't come in here on your very first post to this board an insult me and others who have contributed to this board on a daily basis with accusations that we are just plugging particular seedbanks.

Great, no offense intended, but such a response is one that I did not expect in the least. I had intended to rouse the reader in efforts to bring about some sort of advice or answer to the mere ideas of the post.

Ideas or suggestions beyond a mere thank-you-for-not-insulting-our-recommendations-on-the-first-try-we-have-no-helpful-answers-for-you type of reaction. There are countless of us individuals paying close attention to these boards and the question/answer sessions to enlighten ourselves about dangers beyond the law books, guide books, or grow instructions. I have landed here in search of information strictly from the horses mouth; information that is valuable and seemingly authentic. Thanks for complicating the issue by not being that source.

I dare not imagine how I would go on the venture to do something that would surely result in my expulsion from freedom and liberty, just to find some weed. Or even a starting point, like seeds for that matter.

    Best,

  5. gees, what do I say?
honestly, I don't think it is illegal to have cannabis seeds. Just to cultivate them. I mean yes it is suspicious and yes I am sure they will be confiscated, but I doubt that customs will give two shits about tracking you down and closing your "major drug ring." Anyway, the world relies on this black market, I mean if we weren't buying weed we would be buying oozis and shit from bombay. But seriously, next time you have some paranoid breakdown and the whole world cares about your every move, don't come here picking fights. Just a suggestion.
    Good? Good.
    PEACE.

Hey if we are getting paid to recommend seedbanks my address is..... I am waiting for my check. wtf! haha
    PEACE all.
