Hi all. First real grow and am amazed. I'm in day 18 of flower and am extremely happy and kind of amazed at the results so far. Basically ffof/castings/perlite for soil with some myco. Vision seeds pure gelato 70% sativa, 30% indica, but the plants actually look the opposite to me. Short, bushy, wide leaves. I've been really light on nutes. Straight water at 6.5 first 4 weeks. started cal mag 1/2 dose at 3 weeks. Started FF big bloom 1/2 dose at 5 weeks. Started FF Tiger bloom 1/2 strength week 6. Nutes every other watering. I will start FF beastie bloom, and FF Chaching more or less as they are scheduled at 1/2 strength. I didn't really expect them to be looking as good(to me anyway) as they are and am kind of getting excited. Now I don't plan on any major changes because things seem to be going well, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for late flower? I just ordered a small 'Snow Storm Ultra' after reading a few good posts here, but since then I've seen all the posts claiming how horrible it is. There was a huge debate on the topic but the most recent posts are like 6-7 years old. Is there a final verdict on it? No one seems to doubt that it works, but the argument over whether it's safe or not wasn't really answered. Not trying to restart the argument, just wondering if there's a consensus after so long.
