Second time grow first time apartment advice

    Hi,
    I am a new leesee and I want to grow in my apartment. I have grown one time before at my dads in a garage with a cabinet using a HPS light. In this apartment I can hear the neighbor upstairs pretty well. I can hear him playing video games, when he goes to bed, ans coughing heck I even think he has a light as well. Is an HPS (Sun system LEC 315) going to be to loud in an apartment? Does putting it in a tent help with the sound? Also, do apartments normally share the same breaker? I normally grow 6 plants in 8.5" pots. Just wondering too the best tent setup. If I have to get an led is it better to use a hydroponic stealth cabinet? Damn....I need my weed growing again.

    your light shouldn't make any sound. A slight buzzing is all I've ever heard from my ballasts. Your fans will make more noise.

    Apartments should NOT be on the same breaker, unless it's an old house that was converted to a duplex or something similar. You should have an electrical panel somwhere in your apartment.

    The little qb 130w kits they sell at ledgrowlightdepot are ideal for apartment growing. A 2x2 veg tent can save you some noise and heat and smell, when used in addition to another area for flower. The whole grow all in one room adds challenges. Noise is best concealed if it is consistent and constant and everybody's ears just adjusts. Tents do nothing to conceal noise.
    hlg qb and a/c infinity fans are best I have found for apartment growing.

    I like the little 2x2s but for 2 whole setups seems pricey. How many 8.5" plants could that hold? I do trainwreck.

    I do. The bulbs make a funny humm/buzz when they first turn on. Only for 20 seconds or so, then you wouldn't notice them.

    yeah no, the 2x2 is just for veg and drying. I keep it out of the way where it runs 24/0. Different temp and humidity in that room. I just do single plants. One in the veg tent and one in the flower closet. I only need 4 oz per plant, and that is quite easy with the autos I grow. I harvest one plant every other month. 2 oz per month? Does that qualify me as a problem smoker? Or about average for a pot head?

    Probably average. Most my friends roll 3.5g each time and smoke 1-2 a day.

    I just ordered a 2 x 2 if I do 2 plants on auto could I get 2 oz per month with one tent and one light?

    Not loud at all. Not even as loud as a super small fan

    It's all about buds per square foot. The way my buds are spaced out, it takes a little more than 2x2 to produce 4 oz. There are certain LST or scrog, or even SOG methods which can pack buds closer together than my mainlined autos produce.
    If all I had was 2x2, I would grow in very small bags, 1 gallon max, and keep cramming them in there when you have room. Time will be your friend to help you meet your goal. Anything that gets jarred before 4 months from sprout will compensate for not much yield per plant.

    I have 8.5" pots. I was hoping to either do 2 in 2 months for 4 ounces or 3 in 3 months and get 6 oz in the tent. If its not averaging 2 oz per month doesnt seem worth it. Can a 2 x 2 run ok in a closet? If I can do it all in the tent I would or seed/veg in tent and then use the closet for flower only and get the 6 oz in 3 months. I just dont want to get kicked out of my place for 1.5 oz in 2 months if I got caught lol...
