I'm in the vegetative state of my second grow. My first attempt was using a 400w HPS light and a hydro system from Stealthydro. I gave up on hydro (at least for now) after many, MANY problems and headaches. So far, I'm really enjoying this grow. Grow room: basement, about 8ft by 8 ft, mylar on one wall, white flat paint on other 3. One shelving unit for veg, one for flowering. Seeds: "Crystal" from Amsterdam seeds. A primarily Indica variety. Light: CFL over seedlings for about 3 weeks, then 400w HPS, starting off at a 36" distance. 18hrs a day during vegetative. Soil: Meijer potting soil (organic) mixed with a light seed-starting soil. Nutrients: Fox Farm program Misting: one or two times a day, tap water mixed with a tiny bit of seaweed extract.
