Well this is a slightly more unusual grow op but bear with me. The plants are all now about 19 days old, I have been flowering them 12/12 since day one of sprouting due to time constraints, and there is about 200 watts worth of CFL's on them. Theres 3, 1 is OG Kush and the others are bagseed. The OG kush is already starting to smell skunky when you put your nose in it =] There are 2 lights on 2 sides of each plant, with an overhanging light over all of them. Totalling around 200 watts, all the lights are on a timer for 12/12. The soils is a combination of miracle grow, orchid soil, and some dirt outside (california dirt) They are all around 3-4 inches tall now and around 3 weeks old, according to my last grow which had 12/12 from sprout, these should have a major growth spurt within the next 2 weeks as they begin to mature. The last plant, which is one of the bagseeds is the first I am LST'ing cause right now its the longest and I wanna start early before the stems harden. Here are all the pics so far. Its a pretty ghetto set up but it worked quite well for my last grow using White Widow and again I have limited resources so ill be quite happy with whatever product I can get out of this. about 5 of the lights are 5500-6500k, with 2 lights being 2700,3200k. Once they begin to mature more I am gonna replace all but 2 veg bulbs with 2700k bulbs for flowering dur but to also keep the full spectrum a little bit. COMMENTS? lol
not a comment but how do you keep them so short? i have mine about 2 inches from a 100w and its still stretching like my last grow. I dont know how you can do it
Well I have lights very very close to them as well as more than 1 light, if you keep the lights only a few inches away they shouldnt stretch and if they do I guess its just bad genetics.
I dont know but id assume either the entire time or until the stem hardens in that curved shape. So no new pix yet cause they havent grown much today but I have LST'd the other 2 plants, today is day 20 =]
New pic, day 21... you can see theyve grown a little bit more and you can see their all on LST now, in the next week their gonna start getting really really big =]]
Great news, I found preflowers on 2 of the plants! Pistols =]]] theyve gotten slightly bigger, around 5-6 inches tall now, under LST only a few inches. still got the whole ghetto thing going on lol, but their healthy so whatever. I also popped in a few flowering bulbs as this is around the time they begin to naturally mature, by the end of this week they will be significantly bigger. PIX. comments?
I suggest you go to home depot, and spend 65 on the either the 100w mh or 100w hps. thell thank you for sure. DONT LOSE THIS STRAIN!! This could be the next og that theyll pay 5 a unit for in L.A. they pay 300 all the way up, no BS. If you dont want to do that, maybe a bit of Sharing the genes would be in order... idk your situation, and dont want to. i just want what u got tho.
I would but again Im limited on cash and resourced so this is all ive got but I know itl do fine cause it did for my last grow. And nah its just regular OG kush, nothin special. You can buy seeds though at Dr Chronics Cannabis seeds bank and these plants are for personal use im not selling my product.
I dont know where the og kush is on their site... could you help me locate it? seperately, have you ever taken a clone? it will stoke you out, since its 20x easier than starting from seed... i could walk you through it. bottom line, I had the og that peeps kill 4(well, not really, but almost..) and I had a batch go bad(think bud rot and powdery mildew EVERYWHERE), and I had to get rid of it-- and then the guy I trusted to save it for me, fucked me over badly(robbed me blind), and i never had a chance to get my poor girls back/ . btw, are u in kali? i have medical card
Ah damn sorry to hear that dude, nah never taken a clone, I would like to know but it doesnt matter right now as I dont have enough space for more plants. Yeah I'm in socal and hmmm =/ I guess they dont have OG Kush on their site, but im sure with a card you could find a clinic with seeds. UPDATE: I have again confirmed the 2 females I had, the OG and the Silver Haze are females cause I saw more small pistols, the 3rd bagseed plant I confirmed to be a dude, had balls all over it haha =/ Oh well, more lights for the girls =] im happy with 2, having 1 woulda sucked. Ok, so I havent updated in a while... my plants are now I believe 25-30 days into flowering. They have been grown into a 12/12 setup since seed and now, the Haze is about 2.2 feet tall, and the kush plant is a little over a foot, around 16 inches. The Haze is flowering much slower, all these below pix are of the kush which is developing pretty damn nice buds. I think theyll be ready in another month to a month and a half.
you didnt top the plants at all correct? also you didnt follow the lst method and go around in a circle right?
Nope, none of that =/ I decided against it, its a pretty basic grow but I think ive got all the main things down so theyre growing pretty nicely, you could call them dwarf plants lol... but I suspect ill get at the very least a half ounce from each, and ill be happy with that. Also, as you can see the haze plant has gotten a little taller, so I added a seperate top light for it. The buds are growing pretty quickly, theyre bigger now than in this pic. Also, there is about 200 watts now surrounding the plants, so hopefully that is plenty of light, about 5 are 2700-300k, and 3 that are 5500k, so ive got a lot of the spectrum =] WHADYA GUYS THINK?
BUD PORN BELOW, 18+ ONLY. They are now about 3-4 weeks into flowering, so their only halfway there =] I hope to harvest AT LEAST a half ounce from each plant.
hey man i like ur shit i didnt even no u could start 12 12 rite from sprout i have good seeds and i grow outside and never have indoors cause worryed about being to big and i no nothing about indoors can u tell me everyhitng i would need to do what u doing ty
