Second grow-LED/CFL-clones

  1. Hello blades im back after first grow and this time im doing 4 ak48 clones and 4 mystery clones, i cut them last night and they are all nice and cozy in the cloner, 18/6,
gana keep em in there for about 2 weeks unless the roots are so crazy they can go in to the hydro system in 10 days.
im Using DWC, every bucket is 5 gallons, and has 4 spots in the lid, going to be growing very short very indica heavy strains and plan to LST like a monster.
I am using all CFLs to veg and a main LED with CFL supplimental for flowering, Nutes will be advance nutrients grow micro bloom for ferts, and plenty of other goodies for blowing those buds up. now for the questions, i acually cut these clones off flowering plants, and they have pistils and everything, should i trim those? the leaves have all been trimmed accordingly but not sure about the flowers? Pics will be coming soon and ill keep this thread updated as they grow up.
thanks for anyone who is in here =]

We're those girls in flower when you took the clones mate?

  4. yes they were, 4 of them were off a mystery plant that was barely into flower, and 4 of them ( the pink 1, and the 3 to her right), were taken off an ak48 plant deep into flowering. should i trim those flowers? is it ok to be misting them? is that wilting too much for normal? they are in an aeroponic cloner with just rootjuice. cuttings are a day old now. temps,PH, and everything else is good.

That maybe you're problem dude, ideally clones should be taken from a vegging plant as appose to a flowering one....
Also they look like rather large clones that you have cut but that might just be the picture.....

I think all you can do right now is sit back and hope they perk up...
May be worth considering taking your cuttings from vegging plants on future grows mate.

Good luck with it dude hope it works out man.

  6. thanks! yea i only took em to keep the strain, ill measure em all tonight and maybe that will help, they are larger than any clones ive taken before but i dont think they are too big.

  7. hey also i am using advanced nutrients grow, micro, bloom, and they say to use a 1-1-1 ratio for the whole life cycle,
should i stick with that or do 2-1-1/1-2-1/1-2-2, like normal.
also anyone that is familiar with ADVANCED NUTRIENTS grow micro bloom, let me know how much/gallon you use, they have a chart but it seems really high.

Sorry mate never used any of those nutes and not done hydro before either.....

  9. My experience with Advanced Nutrients is that you always want to use about 25% of what the chart says. Powerful nutrients that can sometimes overpower newer plants in hydro.

Right now I'm using pH Perfect technology, so the amounts are a bit different for me.

    good luck!
