  3. Going to try to get someupdated pics in a lil bit here, plants doin good look a bit small maybe because i ave them in tiny pots to start but meh i dont need super fast growth right now, dwc bucket girl is finaly growing, with some minor issues due to damn rockwool, ph now at a nice 5.7, ppm at 200, temp in water 70, room temp 75-80 and 50-60% rh

last one here is quite light green on the new leafs my old ph pen was shot so yea and the rockwool was not rinsed enough at the start also so...hopefuly now all will be well with her :D

  8. Looking good man. Is there a big learning curve going from soil to dwc? I'm very interested in doing a dwc cause I'm tired of cleaning up soil. Lol

Is that a homemade bucket or did you buy it?

  9. home made bucket and the whole shebang, about 25 bucks to make a bucket. last time it didnt work, i couldnt keep temps down, if you cant keep temp under like 75 i think you will get problems, now i got it rig'd up so i have it cool always

Not a big learning curve, mixing nutrients to proper ph can be rough, ph up 85% and ph down 85% is strong stuff.

  10. ya that cost me...

    Bucket and lid: 7$
    2- 3 inch airstones: 3$
airpump rated for 40gal of water: 10-12$
    6'' rockwool cube: 2$
3 rolls of cheap imitation ducktape (black kind) : 3 bucks
Homemade netpot out of a 6''pot with big cuts to allow space for roots to grow out : Free

And my cooling system= its probably 15 gallon container under the 5 gallon bucket, has almost(little under) same level of water as the bucket, and gets 500ml-2l bottles of frozen water put into it periodically as needed according to weather.

the idea with my cooling system is i dont not want to shock the plants with a direct or sudden change in temperature ;)

  11. Cool why the does the temp have to be so low? Algae?

  12. i didnt have algae last time, it was like white clear slimy shit on the roots and on the airstones it was nasty and not working lol

  13. flushed 1 of my big girls yesterday, about another week to go :smoke::smoke:

    runoff left at 450 ppm

  14. gave girl number 1 and 2 a transplant today into 6'' pots. They are very nicely rooted in the 3 1/2'' pots i transplanted at a perfect time. Should see alot of new growth coming :D

  15. Hey dude totally unrelated question, but how do I plus rep?

  16. I do not know lol

just found it, theres a icon by the top of the thread under "rate thread"

  17. Looking good in here :) when do you think you'll cut?! And no that's how to rate a thread, plus rep is at the top of the each persons reply and I think it has like an old scale symbol can't remember I'm on my phone.. Click that for rep.

Sweet I was thinking a little bit ago.. I wanted to go 55-60 days but school starts on the 23rd and I kind of want it trimmed up like the night before. Not sure yet though, that would be 55 days.
