Second grow, Blue Cheese and chiesel

This Is my second grow and i figure i would try to do a grow journal. My first is in its fourth week of flowering and looking good. Just really decided to grow about 2 months ago so still learning more everyday.
Anyway I got two 10 packs of fem seeds(Blue cheese,chiesel) from the seed boutiqe i will also give the mazar freebies i got with them a go. Right now they are all in 2 gal pots with foxfarm ocean forest soil,flora nova nutes, under a 400 watt mh in my closet. They are only a week old right now so not much to look at now. I will try to update at least weekly

Just got home from work today and thought i would give an update. Everything is going all right, no problems yet. I Have about 16 plants in the veg closet right now so getting a little crowded. I figure the more the merrier. Also considering buying another 600 watt hps since in a about a month or more all these plants will be in the other room. I will post some pics of the blue cheese and chiesel.

 

Just a little bored on saturday night and thought i would share some of my excitement. It is hard for me just to look and not touch. I will keep posting even if i get no responses cause this place is the only outlet i got to share this with other than my wife. Well here are my oldest kids, these plants just entered there fifth week of flowering.

 

Yeah right now all 16 are under one 400 watt mh light in a closet that is a pretty good size(only using about a third of it). I have mylar covering the whole area wich i would say is about 3.5'x3.5' and the light is about 12-15 inches from the top of the plants. Everyone seems happy. As for the light in the other room i have one 600 watt hps for the 5 plants that are in there right now. It is a 11'x11' room totally covered in mylar. Dont know what light to really get yet all that i know is that i will probably need more soon. I am still pretty new at this so just taking everthing as it comes

 

I had my first major problem and it was with my ventilation in the main room. I thought if i just opened the door to recirculate every few hours or so along with my central ac unit that i would be good until it got a little hotter out here. That is not the case my problem is with the humidity it gets to like 80 percent some times and i have noticed a smell starting to come about. Like old gym socks, the smell goes away when i leave the door open. Not wanting to fuck around anymore a bought a 8" in line fan for exhaust($220.00) and going to cut open a 12" square for an passive intake. Hopefully that will take care of that

Well going on to week three of this journal and everything is going well. I finally got all of the smell out of the other room. I think it was the soil because the buds smell fine now. As soon as i get a little cash i think i am going to order some super lemon haze seeds for the next grow. Anyway got to go.

 

Hangovers suck really bad when you out of weed. It was worth it though Deicide killed the place last night. Dead by dawn

 

I AM GOING TO BUY ANOTHER LIGHT JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO GET. MY FLOWERING ROOM IS 11X11, I HAVE ONE 600 WATT HPS ON LIKE 6 PLANTS RIGHT NOW. SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE CROWDED FOR LIGHT. i WANT TO GROW ABOUT 16 PLANTS MAX. WOULD ANOTHER 600 WATT DO THE TRICK OR SHOULD I SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET THE 1000 WATT? i AM WILLING TO SPEND A LITTLE MORE NOW IF IT BENEFITS ME IN THE FUTURE. ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
