Seattle coffee shops?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by haroo, Nov 17, 2014.

  1. Hey guys I'm heading to Seattle on business in December. I would love to hit a coffee shop while there. I have found one coffee shop online that looks pretty good but they don't say if they are recreational or strictly medical. Its called have a heart. does anyone know about this place or of any others?

  2. I could be wrong, but I thought there weren't any places you could actually buy and consume your cannabis, just dispensaries where you can purchase it and then you need to smoke in some sort of private residence.

  3. I have read that on a forum. i also read that the police would prioritize a j-walker over a j-smoker. I assume a guy would be safe in a park away from people? I would really like the coffee shop experience though. might not happen...

  4. Here in Washington state they made it illegal to smoke inside of businesses and 25ft from doors, windows, entrances. The other problem is that it is against the law to use recreational marijuana in public, the fine is rather small, I believe about $27.

IANAL but you most likely won't be running into any marijuana coffee shops here anytime soon due to legal restrictions. There is probably an exemption for private clubs.

  6. anybody know the 420 friendly coffee shop situation in Colorado?

  7. Lots of coffee there. Same as wa. No public consumption.

Someone please explain the fascination of smoking in a shop.

  8. For the same reasons people like to go to a bar and drink instead of staying home and drinking.

  9. "We do not sell hash brownies here, we are simple Dutch bakery!

Now put your clothes back on, white boy!"

  10. the first Starbucks in Seattle lets you smoke in there ;)
