I want to build my own flood table/reservoir for an aero setup, and not too sure what to use to seal the table, from leaks, wood rot, and chemicals leaching out into the water.

If anyone has some advice I would reply appreciate it.

  2. well first off, what building materials are you going to use? If you are using like large tubware you really wont need one.

I am using 3/4" Masonite, to build a the reservoir. Inside I have 3, 10' runs of 1 1/2 inch PVC with 30 misting heads attached.the top is cored out to accommodate 40 perforated basket inserts. Basically your run of the mill rubbermaid set up only allot bigger. I don't know what to line the inside with to keep it contained and safe for my plants.
I couldn't find a plastic tub or insert big enough and didn't want to run a crap load of small rubbermaid setups.

  4. I used a heavy duty tarp for my drip setup, works pretty well and cheap.
