Sea Of Green

  1. I've been planning out my first grow for this summer. Recently though, I have been pondering the SEA OF GREEN technique. Seeing as how I don't have much time for the growing season, and I don't need a BUNCH of crop, it sounds like the way to go. I was wondering if any of you guys could give me pointers on the Sea Of Green technique? Any info would be much obliged. Thanks.

  2. The basics of the Sea Of Green Technique is to grow a quite a few "single kola" plants, usually growers allow 1 square foot per plant...Once the plants have all reached around 8-10 inches they are flowered...Most SOG growers also use smaller 1-2 gallon pots to assist in keeping the plants compact as well as helping to keep the plant from out growing the desired 1 square foot. The 1-2 gallon pots also allow for more plants to be fit in a small footprint...

  3. When doing SOG method, do you trim all of the supporting colas, and just leave the main one, or just let them go?

  4. Normally the supporting kolas don't get to chance to fully develp but as far as I know just let em go...Though once you reach about 3/4 of the way threw flowering the lower branches and what not that will not develop can be trimed to limit the amount of the plants energy that is being used to grow under developed parts of the plant...
