I don't know if everyone bothers using screens or not. I know plenty of people who don't use them, and also plenty who will throw a royal bitchfit if you dare load a bowl without a screen. So my question is, do you prefer using screens? And if so, do you prefer metal or glass? I prefer using a glass screen when I smoke out of a pipe (especially non-bubblers), or if my herb is ground particularly fine. But I usually don't bother with screens if I'm using bigger pieces.
Glass screens FTW. They keep your piece cleaner, and when u get to the bottom, you dont suck your last hit though the piece, you get to smoke all of it. You can get 10 for like 5-10 bucks. Totally worth it.
I use a glass screen in most glass pieces. Always a screen on the bong. But if it's not my piece it's all good, not a big deal, unless it really needs a screen.
I don't use any kind of screen or gauze in my bubblers or pipes, but LW disc diffused slides FTW when it comes to GonG.
i only use a screen if its a bowl with a large hole that makes it almost impossible to keep you weed in
It's a slide/downstem with holes or slits in it so the smoke gets diffused into the water, and thus filtered and cooled more.
