Scraggly seedlings

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by 420BlazeitHabibi, May 27, 2019.

  1. Is something wrong with my seedlings? I’m using reused soil, I flushed it a bunch let it dry up, mixed it with new soil I had left over from an organic mix, and put them into grow directly, I haven’t used nutrients yet just watering normally and misting everyday. One week and a half in they look a little scraggly especially one of them second one the very tip even looks like it has nute burn?!

  3. The last one is more then fine, thriving actually, growing a tad bit faster then the others, but I can still see the same weird texture I see on the others, but not much, and no colors or curling, like the other two while. the second one looks like it has nute burn and curling even though I used no nutes yet? Could it be the light is to close? I can’t really tell it’s a cfl so it shouldn’t really be doing that, but like I said I can’t really tell lol. The first one is kinda fine just a little coloring and just more of the weird texture they all have.

  6. could it be that I’m misting it to much and the leaves are heavy with water?

  7. Try re potting em.... look OK to me.... any problems may be caused my leftover nutes soil to hot.... But they don't look bad considering the soil...Nice big pot fresh soil and you'll do just fine

  11. I've re used soil myself in the past mate.... I just flushed it good a week before planting the seeds.... worked fine tbh then into fresh soil when repotted had no problems.. Soil doesn't have to anything special if cash is a problem... any old compost soil will do the job as long as it doesn't pack down to much.. I try to use the fluffier soils I can find few pebbles at the bottom of pots n away ya go..
