Science finally got it!

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by weedaterian, Jan 9, 2013.

  1. Scientists now approve the theory: Early "cave men" consumed and also smoked cannabis often. The constant use of cannabis sped up there knowledge, they say it helped people make...ex. Speech, Tools, Music, and also Free Will. So scientists have now said that cannabis unlocked the key to human smartness! So I thought what if we feed monkeys cannabis often over so many years, will it make them smart too? What do you think about all this weed discovery?

  2. Proof please?

  3. yea you gotta back that one up with sources lol, sounds too awesome

  4. well, somone did say if u lock up a bunch of monkeys in a room with some weed and a typewriter they will reproduce Shakespeare.
    Or something to that nature............

  6. that documentary is atleast a year old haha

  7. lol no no

an infinite amount of monkeys in a room on type writers has infinite possibilities of typing. Which in theory means one of those infinite possibilities is a monkey typing out Shakespeare.

Not that a few monkeys locked in a room with a bong are going to skip a massive evolutionary gap and learn to write entire works of art

  8. so what!

  9. I have seen a lot of them, but not that one. Just watched the whole thing, thanks.

  10. I mean I like weed but there is no way weed is the key to human smartness.. It's natural selection meng

  11. I'm pretty sure this has been out for some time...

Watch 'The Union', Scientist studied marijuana when Nixon was president, and the results were that Marijuana has no bad effects on the body. Nixon disregarded this govt funded study, and still enacted the war on marijuana.

Anyways, everyone knows that there is nothing wrong with marijuana and we know this because every study that was been done, has been redone and has shown that every 'known side effect' of marijuana is FALSE

  12. But weed created natural selection!

  13. You're not backing up what you're saying though so your arguement pretty much collapsed on itself.

  14. just one of the reasons why weed will probably not be legal for a long time. the government needs to keep people brainwashed and stupid

  15. Lol wow are you serious?

    Natural selection created weed.

What you said about free will being created by weed seems quite inaccurate too me. From a physiological point of view, there is no such thing as free will. All brain activity is controlled by a highly specific set of mathematical rules and electro-chemical signals. Humans are no exception. From a psychological point of view, all organisms have the perception of free will.

And the part about giving monkeys weed, and them becoming smart; monkeys are already highly intelligent, and consume their own drugs. Their societies are just as complex as ours (although those of humans are larger due to technology such as the internet), and introducing cannabis into them wouldn't have too profound of an effect.

I would be interested to know your sources.

I'm sure it's natural selection too.
It isn't just that we became smart because of the herb. Maybe it just helped a little, but i'm sure not because some australopithecus smoked weed and because of weed we became homo sapiens sapiens.
I've heard some theories too that say that the step that splitted monkies from humans (missing link) was helped by the use of (not discussing it, don't want an infraction) mushrooms in apes, widening their knowledge etc eventually leading to wiser apes, eventually leading to humans.
Which can make sense but I'm not really sure that's how it could happen. I'll give it atleast that it could've helped. Like how eastern monks and stuff aquire knowledge, for example they use opium. Priests used cannabis too, etc
You know lots of other animals like to get high too, horses, elephants get drunk, jaguars love ayahuasca (i insist, i'm not talking about the use, its for educational purposes) actually that's how amazon indians learned from the plant, by watching kitties get high :p They look really fucking cute.

I'll insist one more time, I apologize for the extensive use of other drugs other than cannabis. It was educational purposes. I hope you get what I mean and don't get me banned. Please haha

  18. I actually dont believe that weed has created this natural selection? I believe god and god only! But the video if you happen to watch said it did! I was playing devils advocate thanks!

  19. Troll? If not, this must explain your lack of scientific knowledge...

  20. Is english your second language or something
