  1. Thanks man! I have one of those so it might be best for me to use that instead of mucking about with the wiring.

  2. I have only powered it on - haven't messed with the dimmer yet so it sounds like it's dimmed :)

maybe i'll leave it where it's at and turn it up as the next step instead of lowering the light to increase PAR

  3. That's a good call. Keeping it higher & playing with the intensity will help keep the coverage even (not that it's a huge concern when your light spans your whole tent).
Then again you could continue to use less electricity if you drop it down...

  4. The 120’s aren’t as intense as the 288’s. Crank them suckers and drop them 12-16” above the plants

  5. cool i'll work on that tonight :)

  6. What PAR numbers do you look for soil? Or do you have a lightmeter?

@Soil2Coco cranked the power to 11... well 217 is the highest my wattage will go on the dial. 20190117_205413.jpg

Day 7 of RH 65 Temps. Had an issue last night and the RH dropped to 45 for a bit (my power strip flipped its breaker, have never had that happen before but this is an old powerstrip)

This weekend I plan on building a new configuration for my manifold to get that installed. I'd like to get the girls feeding daily again before too long. Hand feeding will eventually take 30 minutes lol

  8. I love a good dry trim. Easier too as long your bus are dense

  9. gave them a squeeze and most of the buds are pretty dense already - tonight will be 8 nights of 65 RH dry. I am getting a hay smell still, but it's less strong than it was. I'm hoping that means once I get them into the jars and start daily burps we'll start getting some nicer smells lol

  10. I always used to be a wet trimmer, until my last grow. Tried post dry trimming and defo worked for me. Felt like a much slower dry but much better smell/taste after.

  11. That drying bud is looking great dude.

On the QB pics... Are you taking pics with your phone? Can you change the color temp? Once I figured out how to make my phone camera adjust for 3000k light my pics started looking a lot more natural instead of yellowish

Decided to chop the ladies, it had been 8 days of 65 RH. The girls have a faint smell of hay but it's less prominent than I normally smell by this point - hoping that means for more smells to manifest.

Total harvest from 4 plants, 22 ounces:

Then put the final trim through its paces with dry ice and gave it a good beatdown:

15 Grams of kief from 4 plants that were mainlined and only allowed to veg for 3 weeks before pushing into flower!!! I'll take it :)

Girls are about 16 days old, but haven't grown much last 3 days.

I let the girls dry out too much - i'm worried I caused some long term issues. I was prepping for the transplant and wanted them to be on the thirsty side.

Worked on the @Soil2Coco manifold and finally got that all hooked up. Actually ran into some leak issues so I had to do some sealant around the threading of each of the ball valves - cheap chinese stuff.

T Intersections with hosing ziptied off. Drilled 1/8th inch holes, 3 per side.

Manifold facing front for maintenance (it will turn 90 degrees and ultimately face left during production. 01232019_ (1).jpg

Pump with in-line filter. Will probably work on a support structure to keep that from falling over or breaking between fills. 01232019_ (7).jpg
Steep angle here will change - ran out of PVC :( 01232019_ (5).jpg

    Sam's Crack, 15 days old - little dry, little sad 01232019_ (6).jpg
5 Auto Colorado Cookies, Day 17 - these girls have been droopy as well - hoping the manifold starts making these girls shine. 01232019_ (4).jpg

Lotta fkn work man, and I got sick over the weekend. Pretty shitty stuff that laid me out a couple days. Thanks for looking! hoping to see them perk up in the coming days.

  17. I was wondering what you were up to. Have t seen an update in awhile, glad your feeling better. That is some serious rise!!!

Did you mean you had to take apart the ball valves? I just had to use Teflon tape in the threaded holes.

  18. Hey S2C - i agree the rise is a bit much - but at this point i need the reservoir to stay on that side of the garden. If i moved it to the corner for a straight vertical rise it would always be in the way for tent access. I want to change my reservoir to something that's a bit more vertical. My pump stops pumping when there's about 2 gallons of feed left in the tank since it's so wide - that's wasteful.

I also teflon'd the thread on the ball valves but a couple of them were still leaking. I just jammed some silicone around the bottoms of each PVC hole so after it's threaded in the silicone is just an extra seal. These valves are not awesome, leaky, but manageable.

Eventually that water climb will be a slight 1-2 degree angle at the top so the pump isn't stressing to push the water up the whole way.

Week 4, Day 5: Auto Colorado Cookies - topped all 5 girls last night - topped a rung higher on ACC1 and ACC3 since they're a bit smaller. If I have to sacrifice a couple to make room for the others, those will probably be the two phenos I scrap.
