Schizophrenia, psychosis and cannabis

  1. They didn't mention that 1 in 100 people suffer from schizophrenia.

See, the problem with research is that a good lot of it is bought and paid for by both sides. The problem with the Institute of Psychiatry is that is apart of King's College London which receives its financing from the government, similar to how it works in the United States and several other countries. Funny how one study trumps many others that note that people who contribute marijuana to their schizophrenia typically have biological or environmental causes and concerns long before using marijuana, even physical trauma.

It can be caused by a multitude of things, makes it both an easy patsy, and a convenient blame game. Kind of like blaming violent video games for kids going crazy and shooting people, easy to pinpoint something that is unrelated to the cause but creates just as much hysteria.

  2. Oh so its just a stupid excuse by the government, thanks :)
