scarification? anyone done it, advice?

you can burn it but scarification is cutting skin more, but i saw burn designs alot, if your artist be good at it, you can get a beautiful scarification design. and i think burning place on skin will be stay few years.
but if you want my opinion i say get cutting design. it so beautiful than even tattoo and it never disappear of skin.they fucking pretty especially if your skin color be more white but cutting of is really hurtful, i dont mean when you get it, im talking about after the scarification when the drugs that you take for local anesthetic goes away the wounds really suffering you for days or weeks. but i say burning is too fuckin much hurtful than cut of.
and the important Difference between them is that what you get outcome of burning design is just a white bouffant that just can see it from near, but with cutting of you can get that on red and obvious.

I once took a metal Ankh pendant.. held it with a pair of hemostats.. roasted it in a flame til it was red hot.. and pushed it into my skin.. like a branding iron.. i was in a pretty horrible place at the time.. so i can honestly say i didn't feel any of it.. but it's there.. maybe for life.. it's faded some..

i currently have a perfect cirlce burnt on my forearm from an 18.8mm joint on my vape. i d just used my vape bong and i reached over the bong and touched the top of the bowl.

 

back in the day, i used to buy those little incense matches...anyone ever heard of those? you can usually buy em at head shops for a dollar, they work like matches but when you burn them, they smell like incense.
anyway, my boyfriend and i used to take those and flick the cherry off and burn patterns into our arms. it usually took a whole book of those matches to get the job done. i usually burned a smiley face and he would burn a peace sign.
the burns are fading away now so i suppose it's time to redo them

and yeah, it hurt like a bitch, and blistered up for a week, but it was nice to look at

Depends on why your doing it? For art and coultural I think it's ok but if your in a bad place lookin for somthing to take the pain out of your mind and into the physical state, just join the poller bear club and that shock will be way more intense and the best part is when it's all said and done and you feel like a new man you'll be the same as when you got into the water. No ugly hate scars!!! I got to many, it took me along time to git over that and just deal with shit!

 

i carved my name into my skin using a razor, this was about 10 years ago and i can still see it. hurt alot tho and i also burnt a design into my skin for a dare, got questioned by the parents alot and they sent me to counselling

 

when i was almost black out drunk i got a friend to brand me with a lighter.
its barely there, this was around 4 years ago...

now its still barely visible but i laugh whenever i see it.

 

personally i think scarification is sick and id like to get some tattoos or scarification work done soon, all i have right now is a couple cigarette burns on my arms haha

I carved a heart into my hip after doing something I can't say by name because of GC rules. I just used an exacto knife and when I was done I put a bandaid over it.

It's faded a lot because I used bio-oil and vitamin e oil on my skin, but it's still there.

 

i have a friend that does scarification, he has a few pieces himself but nothing huge...his biggest accomplishment is an entire tribal back piece on a Samoan guy who is in the Army.

 

Once i got really drunk and a couple guys talked me into giving myself a smiley. If you dont know what that is it's when you light a cigarette lighter and hold it upside down so the metal part gets really really fucking hot then you stick it on you and it makes a cool little smile looking thing. well being drunk i did it and remember the pain was horrible but it was dark and i thought it didnt take so i did it 2 more times. now i have a big dark red scar on my arm that looks fucking ridiculous but i also like it because it reminds me of that time in my life that i really enjoyed. but it hurts. I Imagine if i hadnt done it another two times it would look better.

 

burning yourself that way is far more painful than a scalpel....
