I'm looking for some very good, very scary movies. The thing is, most movies don't really get to me. Insidious made me jump a few times, but I'm looking for the scariest movie ever. Something that will make me scream. What do you think it is?

I caught Mama at the theater a few nights ago, and I gotta say that got me goin' pretty good. The final 10 minutes suddenly jumped tracks, though, and turned into an 80's Spielberg-esque bittersweet finalé... definitely should have gone a different direction there, but the majority of the film was quite on its game. Those feral girls in the beginning were creepy as all getout!
Mother's Day (the 2010 version) is incredibly intense. If you want disturbing, the good old standbys of the original I Spit on Your Grave and Last House on the Left fill that role perfectly. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original) is pretty fucking terrifying. Maniac is one of my favorite slasher movies of all time, with some pretty great effects in it.
