I agree! gory movies aren't scary. Gore doesn't make a movie scary it just means that you probably see some pretty brutal deaths big deal. The act of death is more scary to me than the gore from death.

There's certain things I like to see, I'll use an example, I recently watched Halloween 2 the rob zombie remix. Anyway it wasn't as scary as the first, I thought RZ Michael myers was way more scary than the original though, maybe it was you could see his face or that he was bigger or had a knife 3 times the size of that in the original...I dunno. But there were certain scenes where he would stab somebody but you wouldn't see it, now I'm thinkin come on, if you're gonna go there, and you're gonna give me the idea that this big ass muthafukin guy is gonna put a bigass muthafukin knife in sombodies face, I wanna see that knife go in his face, I don't want to imagine what it looks like I wanna see it. This is 2010 it's time to stop using peoples imaginations against us and actually show us what you want to protray. It's all about keeping it friendly though. They still have to be within ratings I'm sure, and seeing somebody stabbed in the face multiple times probably doesn't met those requirements.

Now it's not the gore of a scene like that that would scare me. It's that actual physical violence that you see on screen, Michael just stabbing someone over and over and over again in the face until you can't even tell what the person looks like. I really enjoied the scene where he stabbed the fat black woman in the back of the head, that was badass. And it was scary, just not scary enough to make me wanna stop, which is what I want. Even though you still never saw the physical knife entering her head, they came pretty close, especially when he just left the knife in her.

    Maybe I'm just fuked up
