Scale Problems

    I bought a new scale last Friday, opened it up but it didn't come with batteries so I just put it away and I just now got batteries. Problem is it won't turn on. I have an AWS mini cd scale

    I've been putting the batteries in with all the text face up (where it says like 3 volts and brand, etc) do I put them in the other way?

    Any suggestions are much appreciated

    just make sure the positive and neg are right.... the words dont matter.... just the pos and neg. if still not then make sure there isnt any plastic on the battery contacts....i sell scales.... and alotta the time thats the problem.... or bend the contacts a lil to make sure they touch the batteries
